The Silver Serpent from Northern Brewer is a 25 foot immersion chiller made entirely of stainless steel, so it will not tarnish or corrode between batches. You drop it into the kettle a few minutes before the end of the boil to sanitize it, then run cold water through the coil to bring wort down to pitching temperature. Barbed fittings with hose clamps and a drop-angle design keep any leaks outside the kettle and prevent kinked tubing. It connects to a standard garden hose or utility sink, measures about 10 inches wide and 16 inches tall, and uses 3/8 inch tubing.
